We print using a Roland VersaArt RE640 printer, which is driven by VersaWorks.

VersaWorks has it's own 'spot' colour library which has programmed colour values.

Currently using Adobe Illustrator, if we select the colour swatch RVW-PR21K, once we export the final artwork into Versaworks, we know exactly what the printed colour will be.

How do we get the Roland VersaWorks palette into Affinity?

Cheers

AD will import ASE files. If I recall properly, AI uses ACO. But they can be exported from AI to ASE for use in say ID and therefore to AD. I only have the palettes for CD, which are XML and cannot be exported to an ASE format. If you upload them in a ZIP file I can convert them for you if you do not have Illy.

However, unless you are trying to use the various inks as Roland defines them, as opposed to just the CutContour, there's really nothing special about them. They are just named spot colors that have a CMYK definition. The CutContour swatch can be easily created in AD.

Anyway, I'll convert whatever Illy palette you want as long as you upload them in a ZIP file if needed.
