willie garvin
Hi, Having just purchased a copy of Affinity for my PC & downloaded it I would like to know if there is/are any books/user guides for Affinity as I would like something to refer to as I learn to use this program. Cheers. Willie
Staff Patrick Connor Posted December 31, 2016 Staff Share Posted December 31, 2016 Willie, Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. Affinity is a range of software, currently comprising 2 purchasable options Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer. There is an official Serif book for Affinity Designer, there is not yet an official Serif book for Affinity Photo, although we are working on one. gdenby
If you bought Affinity Designer, Goto: affinity.serif.com/en-us/designer/workbook/ It is a good basic reference, and mostly lots of hands on tutorials. Don't miss the video tutes online, also. They go by quickly, and you might want to take notes. Staff Patrick Connor Posted December 31, 2016 Staff Share Posted December 31, 2016 The video tutorials ( http://affin.co/phototuts) for Affinity Photo are quite comprehensive, and the help file should not be ignored when trying to understand specific options.
