Affinity Designer - Skew Image?

Recommended Posts

Greetings.

I know there must be an easy way to Skew a 2D image?

I have a background image of a TV studio... with placeholders for monitor screens. These screen are on various angles - I need to position a 2D TV monitor image into these positions.

Any help would be new year fantastic.

Thanks in advance...

Easier than you think: Place the cursor just outside one of the anchor points of the image until the two arrows show. You can skew vertically or horizontally.

A photograph (jpg, 6.5 MB) skews beautifully in Designer, but you are right that it does not add or allow for proper perspective in Affinity Designer. Only Photo offers that.

Thanks for the replies, most appreciated. But none of them did what I wanted.
I did however find the R: & S: options in the bottom of the Transform panel... that seems to do most of what I need. :)

Yep, I was having the same problem, finding the equivalent of Adobe's Skew.  And like JoeFine mentioned, it's the S option in the bottom of the Transform panel at the bottom right of your screen, in the affinity designer app.  S is for Shear.
