I can't find it. @Lamont, The process @ronniemcbride is describing only applies to Affinity Designer where you can access the Document Setup dialog - where the Portrait checkbox is located (in Dimensions tab) - after the document has been created. Currently this is not possible in Affinity Photo (except when you are creating a new document). Later there will be commands to rotate the Document in Develop Persona (in Photo Persona it's already possible from the Document's menu). I have not found a way to input numerical values for rotation. I also need that feature. For now, in the Photo Persona, if you choose the cropping tool, you will see "Rotate" and "Straighten" buttons in the menu bar. The Rotate button allows to rotate the image freehand-style by grabbing and dragging a corner. There is a grid displayed that helps with alignment. Does anybody know if you can flip the canvas on the vertical and horizontal in Affinity Photo - I found all the rotate options. I am hoping to integrate Affinity photo into my concept art pipeline - flipping the canvas is like a nervous twitch for us concept artists. The flip canvas options should be just below the rotate 90° ones on the Document menu. Do you not have them there?
