Gear maker
Every time I open an AD file that uses the font BlairMdITC TT Medium I get the message "Document Contains Missing Fonts BlairMdiTCTTMedium". An example is attached in file Test2. But the text using this font is shown in the drawing and the font is listed in the font list. And the font is shown on the Context toolbar. Why does AD think the font is missing? How can I get AD to stop thinking it's missing? Alfred
The font list includes "BlairMdITC TT" but the error message refers to "BlairMdITCTTMedium" without any spaces. Where did you get this font? It looks like a rip-off of the commercial font ITC Blair™ Medium. MikeW
Funny enough, Linotype has the entire Blair family on sale right now for $99. Not bad as they are the Pro OTF versions. Mike
Gear maker
Alfred, I don't know where this font came from. The dates created, modified & added for the file is 3/7/07. It's in my Time Machine for the oldest entry still existing 2012-03-26, so it's definitely not new. Font Book shows the font info as: PostScript name BlairMdITCTT-Medium Full name BlairMdITC TT Medium Family BlairMdITC TT So I don't know where AD is getting the "BlairMdITCTTMedium" without any spaces. According to http://writing.fletom.com/hidden_fonts_on_Mac_OS_Xthis font was included by Apple in their iWork package which I bought back in 09. Which makes sense because I doubt I would have ever bought this font. I'm not that critical about them. And I don't see anything all that special about it. I guess I'll just change the font used to another that is close in shape. I'm sure I can find something else that's close. Thanks Alfred and Mike Mike Quote iMac (27-inch, Late 2009) with macOS Sierra
