allenbham
Hi -- Sorry to ask what is probably a dumb question. On my Mac, I have purchased Affinity Photo 1.4.3 and downloaded Photo Beta version 1.5.0. On the Mac app store, Photo 1.5 does not show up under "Updates". When i run my version of Photo, it doesn't ask me if i want to update. I tried throwing my beta version in the trash to see if that would make it ask to update, but no. What should i do? I apologize, because i think i should probably already know how to do this.
PixelPest
The update should appear in the AppStore.app - have you open it already? Cheers P.
allenbham
Yes -- when i open the App Store, it shows that i have purchased Photo and Designer in 2015, but it doesn't show that i can get an update for Photo. Now i have Photo Beta 1.5.2, which is good, but i have the feeling that i am going about this backwards. PixelPest
I´d remove the version you purchased - shut down Mac - start Mac again (not a "warm" reboot) open AppStore-app->purchased items - install Affinity Photo again and Update should appear instantly. R C-R
Sometimes just signing out & back into the Mac App Store will show app updates that for one reason or another were not showing up in the "Updates" tab. allenbham
Thank you both so much, PixelPest and R C-R!I had already signed out of and back into the App Store a few times, but deleting the old version, then powering down, and reinstalling did the trick. That makes perfect sense -- i wish i had thought of it. AP 1.5.1 works great now!
