baddel73
Hi, I just learned from one of the video tutorials, that an artboard can have a color, which is a nice thing to have. I tried it and realized, that it seems, that the color does not extends into the bleed, when exporting the document. Is that so or do I miss a setting? Thanks Sebastian
Staff MEB Posted December 27, 2016 Staff Share Posted December 27, 2016 Hi Sebastian, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Yes, that's how it works. In this regard Artboards behave like other objects (shapes). They do not extend beyond their boundaries. You can however create a rectangle shape place in on the bottom of the layers stack of that artboard and extend it beyond the Artboard boundaries. It will fill the bleed area. baddel73 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
baddel73
Ah, OK. That's what I did before and I thought I found a better way, but if that's how it works ... Thanks!
Adam Simon
I'd love to see that as feature request! Could be a clean and pro way to work like that.
