Mattyd
I think the colour picker tool is a bit of a hastle when dragging out then selecting, would be much better to have a colour picker like illustrator where you could just tap a shortcut and copy the colour with ease, perhaps- normal click for colour alt + click to copy style :) Gatada and Roscografik
camloken
I second that idea. The eyedropper is a pain. I use cmd+i all the time in illustrator. In Affinity Designer there is currently no way to copy a colour from one object to another. I should be able to select an object then hit cmd+i to get the eyedropper, then click on a secondary object to copy that colour into the selected object. Again, like many others, I use this feature all the time in Illustrator.
00Ghz
in Illustrator the eyedropper can also pick text format, art styles and more(and you have the ability to change that of course) Quote UI Designer, CG Artist Macbook Pro 15" 2014 2.5 Ghz, 750M https://www.behance.net/VladMafteiuScai
Hokusai
I too wish that Affinity Designer had an eyedropper that behaved more like Illustrator's eyedropper. An eyedropper like Illustrator's is a huge time saver. Gatada
Gatada
Hah! In the beta this works in both Designer and Photo. Sweet mama! Great work team; high fives and fist bumps and all that jazz!
camloken
I have the beta version also (1.1.2.23308). I have not been able to figure out how to use the eyedropper to transfer styles as Gatada has mentioned.
Hokusai
camloken, I don't know either but you can simply copy or command c and then do "paste style" or shift + command v. It works well! Hokusai
