Alfred Posted March 8, 2019 Share Posted March 8, 2019 JPEGs can be RGB or CMYK, but PNG is always RGB. Converting RGB to CMYK will result in the muting of some bright colours, particularly orange and green, because of the much smaller gamut (range of colours) of the CMYK colour space.
