a huge: YES!

I'm totally missing any option to organize the symbols, like:

- sorting (automatically by name, create date or manually)

- replace (like QuietDesign mentioned above) would be a great time saver.

But I would go a step further - not only replacing a symbol by another symbol - just any object could be replaced. In my workflow it happens often, that I create e.g. a logo or whatever, duplicate an artboard go on with my work ... and on some point I realize that it would be better to have that object (logo) as a symbol would be great. Currently I can create a symbol out of one of my used logos but have to replace each one afterwards with the symbol. That has a big potential to save work time, if I just have to select all desired object and popup the context menu and choose an option like "replace by symbol" - that's it.

I'm using version 1.8 and it seems the Symbols feature has not been updated over the past 4 years. 😞

I have around 50 symbols in my list and cannot reorder them in a more logical way. They are listed in the order I created them initially. This is a real usability problem.

Is there a chance to see an update anytime soon?

It would be great to be able to manually reorder Symbols.

Right now, I can't change their order, which, when working with a lot of Symbols, gets confusing fast.

Maybe even different options would be useful:

- Order manually

- Order by name

- Order by layer depth

- Order by time created (right now, default and, in my opinion, least useful)
