.SVG Export for TinkerCAD

Recommended Posts

I am trying to export simple 2D vector artwork to svg format in order to import it into Tinkercad.

It has not been a problem with exports from simple applications like Google Drawing but an AD export file will fall on import to Tinkercad.

The message is "Failure to execute script".

It has failed on different files from different sources, the only common factor is the AD .svg export.

A fix or workaround would be great. Any suggestions?

Attached is a .svg exported file that failed to import.

I've just played around with this and managed to get it to import after unticking "set viewbox" in the export options.

Give that a try and let me know if it doesn't work.

After some more Tinkering (pun intended) I found the same thing after making the posting.

I had changed several things at once and got an importable file so it looks like "set viewbox" was the one.
