Processor usage is still when the app runs in background

Recommended Posts

The processor usage of your apps is huge although your apps are running in the background. It would be very nice when they could use the efficient api of macOS to reduce their energy usage when the users don't use them.

I am not seeing anything like that -- unless one of the apps is actually doing something to a file, Activity Monitor shows their energy use to be negligible.
