Hello, I'm new to Affinity software.

Please advice how to proceed with the transfer of the license key to another computer, or a change in the Windows operating system. On December 15, 2016, I purchased your Affinity Photo v.1. I have a license key on one computer at the moment with Windows 7. I want to reinstall it on a laptop with Windows 10 and continue to use only this one license. Please advice how to proceed. Thank you.

Hi kefesoj,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

You can install, use and run for personal use, one copy of the Serif Software directly on each computer that you personally own or control. So if you own both computers are are the only user using the Affinity apps you can have they running on both computers. Please check this section - Digital orders | How many computers can I install a digital product on? - on this page for more details.

Thank you, I read the article. Just do not understand what is meant by 'each computer you personally that control ".  :(

"Each computer that you personally control" is a fancy way of saying "your own computer", in other words: NOT on your home computer AND work computer, because work control that one... NOT your computer AND those belonging to family members who don't live with you, as those are their computers... But YES to your Windows desktops and Windows laptops (for your own use) if you own them and control what software goes onto them... OR Yes on one Windows computer for anyone to use. (where the word Windows and Mac are exchangeable)

Hi robel,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

No, you have to request a refund for Affinity Designer and then buy Affinity Photo from the Mac App Store. To request a refund click this link, sign in with you Apple ID then click Report a Problem button in front of the app you bought in the Apps section(on top). Alternatively click on the link Report a problem below the Affinity Designer item in the invoice Apple has sent to your e-mail.
