Hi larsh,

You can use the History panel on the bottom right of the interface go back to the beginning dragging the slider to the left (note that if you click on the canvas after moving the slide you will undo/lose all steps after that point and there's no way to get them back - so don't click on the cnvas unless you are absolutely sure you want to discard those steps). Alternatively you can also open the Snapshots panel (menu View ▸ Studio ▸ Snapshots) to restore the first snapshot (on the top) that Affinity Photo creates automatically when you open a photo.
