Mack
Just installed Affinity photo and put the interface into UK mode. However, this does not apply to all areas, wich is unacceptable. See image: If this is going to be a permenant error then I think I want my money back. If I am paying for software then I expect the interface to be for my country and not a mix of two. I also don't like having to have Aero enabled as I can't stand the Aero interface.
R C-R
Mack, If it makes you feel any better, I have the interface set to US English & for me I see "Colours" where you see "Colors." There are a few other places in the interface where I see the UK spelling as well. But it seems more than a little over the top to ask for my money back because of this very trivial cosmetic oversight. MikeW
... But it seems more than a little over the top to ask for my money back because of this very trivial cosmetic oversight. Ah, I needed a decent chuckle this morning and Mack's sense of propriety did it for me. And anyway, what good is an application if it cannot even use proper spelling, anyway? ;^)
carl123
If this is going to be a permenant error then I think I want my money back. If such a minor thing upsets you that much it's probably best to get a refund. Affinity Photo is new and there is a lot more stuff you are going to find that is not quite right as yet. Alternatively you could just report any bugs/problems you find, on this forum, as the developers are pretty quick in getting things fixed. mac_heibu
This morning I read my daily newspaper and what the hell did I read? Angla Merkel instead of Angela Merkel! Of course I phoned the publishing company at once and demanded my money back. But they simply called me a troublemaker. Can’t understand why. Think I’ll take them to court … ronnyb
