Rotate tool like in AI?

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a way to use rotation similar to that in Illustrator where you can type in the degrees and repeatedly copy the object with that rotation.

The only thing I can find is manually rotating the object or using shift to restrict it to 15 degrees rotations.

I've attached a couple screenshots to show what I'm talking about.

Hi namename,

Welcome to Affinity Forums.

Here's how you can do it in Affinity Designer:

1. select the object

2. press cmd+j to duplicate it

3. use the transform panel to insert the rotation value you want

4. keep pressing cmd+j to create duplicates with that rotation value applied
