Sync feature, like adobe lightroom

Hello fellows,

 

I've received the email to buy affinity 1.5.

I'm really excited about this program, but I need to make a question, about one missing feature.

Will affinity photo feature a Sync option, as simple as Lightroom? I have multiple photos taken in the same shot, and I simply can't color correct them one by one.

I only need this answer to buy affinity photo.

Welcome to the forums.

 

You can setup Affinity Photo to be an external editor in Lightroom within the Preferences. You will then get a prompt if you would like to adjust the original or a copy. Once you have done in Affinity, save the image and it will update the thumbnail inside Lightroom. You could create a batch job containing adjustments that you could run on the multiple images.

This is a great solution, thanks for the tip, I appreciate.

But, do you think I can get rid off Adobe Lightroom? With only this feature, I think I can.

Is the sync option in the road map for future updates?

We plan to develop and release and our own DAM app in the future that will interface with our apps. :)

For now, if I only could copy my basic settings from a picture, in the develop persona (everything is just a number), and paste them in the next picture, this could save me some time.

Do you think I can do this with a macro?
