Morne
Hi all When I've setup a bunch of vertical and horizontal guides, they jump or moved when I crop the image. For example if I have an image 5000 X 5000 and have horizontal guids on the bottom of a house's roof line, then crop from that line down, then the lines move and now suddenly those lines are somewhere moved down well below the roof line where they were. Staff Chris B Posted December 13, 2016 Staff Share Posted December 13, 2016 Hey Morne, It looks like we do it differently to Photoshop. I thought that as we crop down in Affinity, the guides were relative to the 0 point on the rulers and as we are dragging down, we are effectively creating a new 0 point. I'll pass this over to development to see what they think should happen. TEcHNOpls
I think both ways may have their merits. Maybe an option here? "I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK, I sleep all night, and I work all day..."
Staff Chris B Posted December 14, 2016 Staff Share Posted December 14, 2016 Yeah I think a setting in Preferences would be a good idea. Thanks for raising this :) How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
