kirkisartist
I'm pretty deep into a project right now. Affinity photo is great for design work, but the brush engine isn't cutting it. So I just installed a trial for lazy nezimi but it's just not doing anything. If anybody has any experience with installing plug ins on affinity, please let me know. Staff Callum Posted December 12, 2016 Staff Share Posted December 12, 2016 Hi Kirkisartist, Welcome to the Forums :) I have been playing around with this plugin for a while trying to get it to work but unfortunately it doesn't look like it is compatible with Affinity :( C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. Richard S.
I have a solution for that - ask the developers to kindly bake it in to AP :) Quote High-End Photographic Prints
Fixx
Then it might work also in mac version.
ambiroa
You can't use it as a plugin, aka native plugin which means finding it in menu and opening it. Instead, you need to hook it. http://lazynezumi.com/faqit directly starts with a guide to hook nezumi to your canvas.
Aammppaa
Hooking to Affinity worked for me during the beta phase, so it ought to work with Retail. Staff Callum Posted December 14, 2016 Staff Share Posted December 14, 2016 Hi guys just a quick update the developer of Lazy Nezumi contacted me via email today to see if he could work with us to make it compatible with Affinity so hopefully it will work in the future :) You can't use it as a plugin, aka native plugin which means finding it in menu and opening it. Instead, you need to hook it. http://lazynezumi.com/faqit directly starts with a guide to hook nezumi to your canvas. Nice profile picture, I used to main jungle Skarner back in the day! ambiroa
UPDATE I purchased AD yesterday, and just now remembered that my Lazy Nezumi trial still has some days left. Tried it, and it works! I did nothing special: 1. Launch AD 2. Open a canvas, any canvas 3. Launch LN 4. Choose Constraints - Isometric * 4. In LN click on File > Hook (it will say that after clicking OK, you need to put your cursor (hover only, NOT clicking) over the AD canvas and wait 3s --- eventhough the explanation said that when hooked successfully, you see a red border flashing, this will NOT happen 5. After 3s of waiting, click on the canvas and you will see LN's isometric lines 6. Done! * this is not required, but when you select this, the confirmation that the hook went well in step 5. is instantly visible. (in contrast, if you selected the lazy thing, you would only know if the hook worked after using the pencil tool and draw a line)
