SuperDuperMax
Thanks! Let me add one point about the info panel: as a photographer, I don't understand it's use. Let me explain. I would like to be able to put on a Curves level the points that I sampled (like in Photoshop), in order to correct "by the numbers". This does not seem to be possible. SuperDuperMax
In photoshop you can put sample points in the image and see in the info panel their rgb (or other) values. If you then open a Curves layer and you ctrl shift click on the sample points, you get the corresponding points in the rgb channels of the curves layer. Then you can adjust "by the numbers" to remove color cast. BatteriesInc and anon1

SuperDuperMax
Yes, I know, you can use the info panel in AP to put sample points, but you cannot then use them!
SuperDuperMax
Another suggestion: - in Photo Persona, when I use the picker in curves, I'd like to be able to put a point on the curve clicking in the image, now I have to drag it in order to set a point. - in Develop Persona, there is no picker in curves, I think it should be there too. anon1

rmar
I flip back and forth between Affinity and Davinci for single images. They do have some nice tools. For some reason I also get a better grasp on color management by watching Resolve tutorials and bring that knowledge back into Affinity. Still a beginner but learning. anon1 1 Quote Skill Level: Beginner, digital photography, digital editing, lighting. Equipment: Consumer grade. I definitely felt right at home in davinci as well, color management all in place :D also: double klick to reset sliders, is such a nice feature :D :P just feels really usable :) btw I wrote an 'easy to get into it' article about Color Management in Affinity https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/33820-color-profiles-management/?p=165094 :) BatteriesInc

Alfred
just today I finally downloaded DaVinci Resolve (should have done it much earlier hehe) Lack of resolve, obviously! anon1 and BatteriesInc 2 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.4.1 (iPad 7th gen)
anon1
Lack of resolve, obviously! haha yeah absolutely :D glad I did not buy color finale for some 100bugs ! but AP should still get a plugin into FCPX for quick grading, DaVinci is definitely great but adds quit a bit of bulk to otherwise speak fcpx workflow :P :)
