Gary I
How can I install Pluguns?
glenbarrington
Most plugins wont auto install themselves into Affinity Photo, it's too new. So you have to tell Affinity where to find the plugins yourself. Under "Edit|preferences|Photoshop Plugins", in the text area labeled, "Plugin Search folders", add the following text: "C:\Program Files\Topaz labs\Topaz DeNoise 6" "C:\Program Files (X86)\Topaz labs\" Don't add the dot in the front or the quote marks. The first will take care of DeNoise 6, which was rewritten last year, and the second takes care of the rest. Warning, if you have installed them in a non default location (i.e. somewhere else), you would enter THAT location. For the inevitable NIK Tools question enter the text below: "C:\Program Files\Google\Nik Collection"
bill hansen
In my version 1.6.5.135 of Affiniti Photo, the option to write to Edit/Preferences/Photoshop Plugins will not receive text. Has AP lost the ability to accept plugins?

Has AP lost the ability to accept plugins? The most straightforward way is to use the Browse option to locate the folder containing the plugin. Once you have located the folder, press the Select button. John Quote Windows 10, Affinity Photo 1.10.5 Designer 1.10.5 and Publisher 1.10.5 (mainly Photo), now ex-Adobe CC CPU: AMD A6-3670. bill hansen
Soorry to appear dense, but - "Browse" button where? Not in AP. Not in Windows Explorer. And once I've located that "Browse" button, what do you mean by a "Select" button? Are you perhaps thinking of PS CC?
bill hansen
Jon - still don't understand your reply, but with the help of another member, I got DeNoise6 into AP. John Rostron
All Media Lab
Hi Bill, Open Affinity photo, go to menu > Edit > Preferences > Photoshop plugins. Click on the "Add" button, browse (search for) C:\Program Files\Topaz Labs\Topas Denoise6\PS_Plugins_x64 Oh see you got it fixed great!
