A physical book for Photo is being written, with contributions from external professionals, like the Designer Workbook.

We don't have a PDF user guide at the moment.

What about an E-book edition that people can download (buy) and read on their phone or tablet? That's more practical nowadays than a physical book. I wanted to buy the AD book, but only in e-book format to read on my iPad.

Ebooks have largely replaced physical books because they are much cheaper and easier to correct/maintain.

We understand that users would like a downloadable user guide. The Workbook is not that. It is designed to be a high quality physical object.

"high quality physical object"

Like all iStuff from some company with a fruit in their name ;)

Guys just put your workbooks in the PDF or Amazon Kindle and sell them with profit and with your customers gratitude :) After all you are now not only in "the high quality iObjects world", you are in the Windows world too ;)

It's Surely a good book! Maybe I will buy it!
But I think it's just in English only!

I believe, also a simple PDF updated User Manual (in all languages) it useful too, and easy readable in every device. Just do a PDF version from the AD/AP help.

I'm with Ludgateman, a physical book please. I can sit and relax and browse it and discover features I didn't know existed, I can stick post-its in pages and use it for reference while I'm doing some editing on the screen without the distraction of using half a window or bouncing from one to t'other. I can flip instantly from one page to another some many pages away and the image quality (an important feature in a photo editing book) will be top notch.

HI all,

I Love books and of course the printed book "Affinity Designer Workbook" is fine! And I hope also in a Print book of Affinity Photo.
But like I can see from the info I suppose the Book, is more "Workflow oriented"  and It is only available in English!

I'm talking about the user's guide supplied with AD and AP that is in HTML format only. IMHO also a simple localized PDF version (also in low res quality) of same user guide, for AD and AP, would be easy to handle.

Cheers
