How come is this thing not available, this is like, basic needs!?

What do you think? Do you really believe, the Affinity team is able to built in any thinkable feature at one time?

You think, this feature is "basic". If everybody tells us the features, which he thinks are "basic", "essential", "indispensable", the Affinity apps would be unusable dinosaurs and the first release will be, well, in about 60 years.

In confidence: A bulge tool would be nice to have toy, but never is a "basic" feature – at least not for designers. If you need it badly, try the one and only MS Word "WordArt"! :)

It´s not only the bulge effect, it´s the entire warp effects list that I showed above (bulge, arc, wave, flag...). Designs like this ones would be 10x harder to do in Affinity designer. I do think it's a basic feature for designers. Way more important than a lot of other features that Affinity designer does have.

The fact that even MS Word has it means it´s a basic feature.

10x seems a little exaggerated.
