aaturner Posted December 7, 2016 Share Posted December 7, 2016 Am using Wacom Intuos pro. Dodging and burning with mouse works ok, although a bit laggy and jerky. However, if trying to use tablet, cursor shows arrow rather than brush and although it "paints", it does so very slowly and with significant lag. Scrolling and panning with the tablet is also hit and miss and occasionally just does not respond. Same action with the mouse works fine. Staff Chris B Posted December 9, 2016 Staff Share Posted December 9, 2016 Hey aaturner, we addressed some Wacom issues in 1.5.0.43 and the release 1.5.0.45 should still be displaying the correct pointer for you, even with Windows Ink still enabled.Did you notice if it was working in build .43 by any chance? aaturner Posted December 9, 2016 Author Share Posted December 9, 2016 If I recall correctly, the Wacom pointer in the earlier release was the correct "brush" circle. Staff Chris B Posted December 9, 2016 Staff Share Posted December 9, 2016 I found that connecting my Wacom tablet while the app was open caused the white pointer. If I closed the app and opened it again, leaving the tablet plugged in, I was back with the correct brush tip. Is this possibly what you may have done? I have been turning on the tablet AFTER opening the app. Be nice if I could turn on the tablet at any old time, but in the meantime you have given me a workaround. I agree we should be able to connect it on a whim. It happens to us quite often in the office when we are passing the tablet back and forth for testing issues while leaving the app open.
