ms.fuentecilla
It is often difficult for most of us who are not programmers to transfer allegiances from one software to another doing a similar function. After changing with Win 10 from Adobe in XP to Serif PhotoPlus in Win 7 and now to Affinity Photo many entirely new and different ways have to be explored and learned. That Affinity Photo has already been available in Mac format makes the in-house videos available from that an enormous help in realising just how different Affinity is from either of those. They really are excellent in that respect and thorough. Michael Lee D and stokerg
ms.fuentecilla
There seems to be much bickering in the Mac community forum about releases. In many ways it must be galling to have new software compared with older established products but at least Affinity Photo gets compared with a leader and pioneer for Windows, Photoshop. It has that quality potential as far as I can see, which is remarkable considering the cost difference. It certainly performs better than PhotoPlus, demanding more nous at times! The interface methodology seems sound. I can't comment about programming in my ignorance, even though I did learn to programme and use DOS in the 1980's. This will be software to enjoy.
