When i close the dialog box that pops up when a new adjustment layer is added, i can't figure out where to click to restore it. I canit find the In painting brush tool and several other stuffs. Hi mikeoe2003,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

Seems you are viewing some tutorials for Affinity Photo rather than for Affinity Designer. Those are different programs. Affinity Designer is a graphic/web/ui design and illustration application while Affinity Photo is a RAW converter/developer and photo editing/painting application. The Inpainting Brush is an Affinity Photo tool - it's not available in Affinity Designer.

Here's a list of video tutorials for Affinity Designer, and for Affinity Photo.

To "reopen" an adjustment, double-click its thumbnail in the Layers panel.
