How to set a magnetic grid allowing round edges?

I want to set a magnetic grid to allow for a drawing of horizontal, vertical AND diagonal lines resulting in equal looking round edges / curves.

How to set this up?

Here is a small part of a map I'm about to set up - and what I'm aiming at and about how it should look finally

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

Go to the Grid and Axis Manager (menu View ▸ Grid and Axis Manager...) and select one of the Triangular grids (from the third section on the Grid Type dropdown). If you want to set up your own angles select Triangular custom on the bottom of the same dropdown. To ensure your lines snap to it make sure Snap to grid in checked the Snapping Manager (menu View ▸ Snapping Manager...).

You can use the Corner Tool to round the corners.

And can I set the Corner Tool to apply the same curved grade on every appearance or must this done manually very time?

I'm bound to construct a huge line setup with many (same angle) round corners thought...

You can select multiple nodes for adjustment with the Corner Tool, and then adjust one of them to make them all look the way you want.
