AI files with Designer

Recommended Posts

Hello to everybody. I have a problem with Designer.
When I load the AI version of the first image, I lose some effects. The flake color disappears. Why ?
Have I to set something?

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums,

Please can you attach a zipped copy of the .AI file. We can only read the embedded PDF but we may be able to import better than that.

Moving to Bugs forum.

Hi Axel,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

The elements you are seeing as black curves are Illustrator's mesh fills. Affinity Designer doesn't support nor does have a similar feature yet. I believe they should be imported as bitmaps rather than black shapes but in any case they can't be edited in Designer.
