If personal taste is involved,           Light is free,                       Mother Nature provides the light
discussion is pointless.                   capturing it is NOT.               but talent renders the image.

I am not sure to decode the sense of "tasty" in this…

When I shoot, I don't kill but immortalize… I like to think.

So Ronnie, if you mean "visually" tasty then yes, I hope

to have an eyeball blast!

I got a female from the marsh and I hope to get the male

from a tipped spot on the river some 17 miles north of here!

OK - I'll play:

Both of you have taken your shots in the mid-day light

which will provide good details of the feathers but not

the characteristic iridescence that makes the magic.

Michelangelo

You got the better natural BG but your WB reveals a strong

magenta cast.

……………

Keith_Reeder

Cool renditions. WB: ok! some hints of iridescence in there! :)

A tip maybe: for vertical frames, I use a 3:4 ratio as it looks

stronger, more stable and it permits tighter crops around the

subject.

……………

Both your contributions would merit their own thread!

HNY!
