In the View > Studio menu in Affinity Designer for Mac there is an always greyed out "Show Left Studio" item. I can't find anything in the help topics about this so I would like to know what it does, how to use it, & why it is greyed out.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi R C-R,

Drag one of the panels from the Studio on the right, or open a new one not displayed there and drag it over the left side of the interface almost touching the left toolbar. A blue highlight area will appear to let you attach that panel to the Left Studio. You can then turn it on/off from the View ▸ Studio menu.

Thanks! I guess I should have been able to figure that out for myself eventually but you saved me the trouble.

One tiny related follow up question: Is there any quick & easy (like one step) way to move everything currently in the right Studio to the left one?

I ask because I have a minor usability issue with the Studio on the right: because I have made the Layers panel free floating, full screen height, & prefer it to be to the immediate right of the main window, whenever I click on the Pressure popup in the Stroke panel (which is in the Studio), most of it is obscured by the Layers panel because it pops up under that panel. I know I could rearrange everything differently to avoid that but it seems simplest to just move the whole Studio to the left, so the Pressure popup will extend into the main window.
