AiDon Posted December 3, 2016 Share Posted December 3, 2016 Hi, The RAW conversions of Canon images is particularly soft and colors come out darker that they should. You can see there is a noticeable difference in sharpness in Affinity Photo to Capture One Pro and the colors seem to have a hue shift. Note that the softness is more pronounced in 5DsR images as in the smaller upload, where you can also see the color difference. Attached is an image opened in Canon's own Digital Photo Professional: This is the same image when opened in latest beta of Photo: There is a noticeable difference, even to my old eyes! AiDon 1 Win 10 Pro, i7 6700K, 32Gb RAM, NVidia GTX1660 Ti and Intel HD530 Graphics Long-time user of Serif products, chiefly PagePlus and PhotoPlus, but also WebPlus, CraftArtistProfessional and DrawPlus. Delighted to be using Affinity Designer, Photo, and now Publisher, version 1 and now version 2. iPad Pro (12.9") (iOS 17.4) running Affinity Photo and Designer version 1 and all three version 2 apps.
