AiDon
ProPhotoRGB seems to be oversaturated in Affinity Photo (1.5.0.42) you can see my color profiles for the application and then a comparison of both Affinity Photo (top) and the correct display in Topaz Adjust when called as a Plugin. laurentia
Yes, it is a problem ... Affinity photo appears to display the image in a larger colorspace than the one in which the image was created (in develop persona ?). The color management seems to be perfectible
Chris_K
HI AiDon This is a known issue with images not being passed through to plug ins with the set profile. It is something we have logged and are looking into Serif Europe Ltd - Check the latest news at www.affinity.serif.com
AiDon
HI AiDon This is a known issue with images not being passed through to plug ins with the set profile. It is something we have logged and are looking into Hi Chris_K, Actually the issue is with Affinity Photo as the display is way over saturated but correct in the Plugin ... I also checked it in Capture One Pro, Lightroom and PS CS6 and it displays correctly ... and in a couple of other color managed apps as well. Don. Staff Pauls Posted December 1, 2016 Staff Share Posted December 1, 2016 Will this be related to the tif problem with the missing colour profile too?
AiDon
Will this be related to the tif problem with the missing colour profile too? Hey Pauls, No, I don't think so, this particular image is a TIFF ProPhotoRGB produced on export from Affinity Photo. But the other issue is that your demosaicing algorithms are different to other apps such as Capture One and Adobe apps so for the time being, until you get the issues with the ICC profile and plugins resolved we can close it.
