[1.5.0.39] No error message when attempting to leave Tone Mapping Persona

When I attempt to leave the Develop Persona, I get a message about committing or cancelling the develop operation. When I do the same in the Tone Mapping Persona, I don't get a message (but nothing happens if the program is waiting for me to commit or cancel).

Is "View-> Show Context Toolbar" selected? Because if it is you will have an "Apply" and "Cancel" button showing above the image window on the left.

 

Choose either Apply to apply the changes and return to the previous Persona or Cancel to return with applying any changes.

Thanks, but I didn't create this thread to ask how to leave the Tone Mapping Persona: I created it to report the lack of any feedback if I try to leave without first pressing  'Apply' or 'Cancel'.

This is also on the Mac. It should probably do this for constancy so I shall get this logged

Thanks, Chris. It isn't just a question of consistency: if the Develop and Liquify Personas also didn't pop up error messages it would be perfectly consistent, but the user still wouldn't know what the problem was! ;)

My apologies, also the Liquify Persona just lets you switch without using Develop/Cancel

Yes, but only if you haven't liquified anything! ;)

This has been "fixed" in the latest macOS and Windows betas, in that the Personas do not switch until the Apply or Cancel function has been chosen, but we are requesting an accept/reject option instead.

I created this thread to report that there was no feedback in build 1.5.0.39 if I tried to leave the Tone Mapping Persona without first pressing  'Apply' or 'Cancel'. In beta build 1.6.0.85 there is still no feedback, so the reported issue has not been fixed.
