I have tried using both the text tools but when I try to type any text into the boxes nothing happens. I can however copy & paste from external files. Staff MEB Posted November 25, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 25, 2016 Hi Peter, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Which text tool are you using? the Artistic Text Tool or the Frame Text Tool? With the first one you can click on canvas and start typing (although you can also drag it to define the size of the text), the second requires you to click and drag to create the text frame first. peterbolson Posted November 27, 2016 Author Share Posted November 27, 2016 I've just discovered that the easiest way to do this, and to add lines or arrows, is to use the Mac Preview Image viewer.
