Aeros4
Please, is there a kind soul who can replicate this coin I did in CS6 as a vector file in AD or a Pixel design in AP? I would like to transfer all my workflow to Affinity and would like to know if this design can be don in Affnity? Better yet can it be improved on over CS6? SrPx
In any vector application, if no raster effect is used, that be just a work of patiently placed shapes with very special gradients. I could do it in ps, or in vector applications. In PS, easy, and even with some improvements. In vectors, definitely more involved, but not impossible. Just needs time and patience. Aeros4
Thanks for your response SrPx. I suspected it would be easier in PS, I did it in CS6. I was sure it could be done as a vector but suspected it would take a lot more effort. So that leaves me with the impression that it can't be handled by AP. I hope this kind of work will soon become doable in AP. I have high hopes for Affinity and its products.
SrPx
Er...Not handled in AP? certainly possible. Probably using emboss or displacement, and the rest is editing, working with text...If anything, you could even mix both tools, but the key is if you need it as a vectorial file or can go with raster at print resolution (easier, then) Quote AD, AP and APub V2.5.x.
