Polygon selection tool missing

I'm working with Affinity Photo release 5.0.39. It's a great program coming from years with Photoshop. But I'm missing the polygon selection tool which is very helpful to use.

Select the Free hand Selection Tool and change the Type to Polygonal on the top left on the context toolbar.

Alternatively, leave the type set to the default 'Freehand' and hold down the Shift key as you move to the next vertex of the polygon. As an aside, I'm not sure why the tool is named 'Free hand' (two words) but the default type is 'Freehand' (one word).

 

If you want a regular polygonal selection, draw a regular polygon with the Polygon Tool by holding down the Shift key as you drag out the shape, go to the Layers panel and Ctrl-click on the shape's thumbnail to create a selection, and then delete the shape that you just created.
