vjsouza
I am a user of Affinity Designer 1.5.0.36 (paid licence) and a Affinity Photo beta. I have the following thought: If Adobe Reader can read, Affinity should also read, even not having the fonts installed on my computer. Please, let me chose if I want replace the font or if I convert it to curves. I heard someone say that CorelDraw already does that.
Staff MEB Posted November 24, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 24, 2016 Hi vjsouza, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Currently Affinity Designer/Photo doesn't support embedded fonts, so there's no way to convert them to curves. You have to install the fonts on your system or replace them with others. We do intend to add support for embedded fonts but it may still take a while since it requires quite some work. gabrielpb1 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
dotheDVDeed
I create a printer postscript file (.ps) with Apple's preview app. Then open that file in Designer.
