Download means getting/saving files from internet which does not apply here. Do you mean you can't open your files in Affinity Designer (stored on your computer)? To which folder have you saved your files? To open a file, go to menu File ▸ Open, go to the folder where you previously saved your file(s), select it and click Open button.
