R C-R Posted November 21, 2016 Share Posted November 21, 2016 It will depend on how the files were created & what each of the formats contain, but in general I think SVG is likely to be the most useful for preserving vector shapes & the layer hierarchy. Staff MattP Posted November 21, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 21, 2016 Yes, a lot of your success will be based on the quality of output in those formats from the software that your supplier used - it's worth trying PSD or SVG if you're interested in keeping layer/vector information, or just PNG if you only need an image that looks right but is not editable... The aim was indeed to retain vector/layer data so that the imported images integrate and become an integral part of the whole design - SVG and PSD seem to work best.
