Ernie W
Where/how do I find the Brushes panel?
R C-R
By default, it is a tab in the Studio sidebar grouped with the Colors & Swatches panels, but it could be anywhere if it has been dragged out to be a free floating panel or dragged into another tab group. If it isn't showing anywhere, go to View > Studio in the menu bar & make sure it is checked. If you still don't see it, it may be necessary to go into Preferences > Miscellaneous & click "Reset Default User Defaults," which will reset several things to factory defaults. SrPx
In the vertical tool bar, just over the healing tool and under the undo brush tool, you have one water drop icon, that's the smoothing tool, you click and maintain pressed there, and deploys other tools, one of them is a sharpen brush tool. Ernie W
I have the Windows version. Unfortunately, there is no "Undo brush tool" in the toolbox. Neither is there any Healing tool. Btw, I found the Sharpening tool, it is a standing cone or triangle. But is has now effect whatsoever on the picture.
Staff MEB Posted November 22, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 22, 2016 Hi Ernie W, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Seems you are using Affinity Designer, not Affinity Photo. To access it change to Pixel Persona (menu File ▸ Personas ▸ Pixel). The Sharpen Tool is the fourth counting from bottom (left toolbar). Ernie W
Affinity Designer, yes. I have found the Sharpen Tool, but it has no effect whatsoever.
DougInLA
Thank you -- somehow my Studio was hidden, and I didn't know what it was called. 🙂 DougInLA
