grumpyphotographer
Trying to see if I can make the switch from PS (which I use only for content aware and access to filters). I've managed to get Nik filters working within Affinity, but I'd rather like to get my DXO filters also working. Any ideas please? Chris_K
Hi grumpyphotographer, welcome to the forums Unfortunately the DxO plug ins are not currently compatible with the Affinity apps. I have no doubt this will change as we continue to improve plug in support, but we also require the plug in manufacturers to support the app in some cases too Serif Europe Ltd - Check the latest news at www.affinity.serif.com
Staff MEB Posted November 21, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 21, 2016 Hi grumpyphotographer, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) I advise you to contact DxO directly and let them known about your interest in having their plug-ins working with Affinity Photo. As Chris_K said, although the dev team can improve things from Serif's side, plugin developer's support can make a big difference in getting them working seamlessly with Affinity Photo. The more users do it, the better are the chances their consider supporting it directly.
