Staff TonyB Posted November 20, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 20, 2016 I assume you are using Affinity Designer as this is a feature in Affinity Photo. We have no plans to add additional selection tools to Designer at this time. Any design created in Designer can be loaded into Photo and vice versa. MartinK
No I thought primarily at Affinity Photo (I have the windows beta). And there is only a rudimentary function to choose red, green and blue shades without the possibility to choose colors by choice respectively to exclude them (with a pipette). I know about the compatibility of Affinity Photo and Designer, but I already had several crashes when I moved a file back and forth. Of course I know that Affinity Photo still has beta status. Staff TonyB Posted November 20, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 20, 2016 I can't see why we shouldn't expand colour range selection. We will put it on the list. Rhuantavan, Fotoloco, Mithferion and 4 others

ProducerBoy
I second this request. Select Sampled Color just isn't good enough. I need to be able to select a band of colors on the hue spectrum, not just a single color. Photoshop has this capability, and the HSL slider in Photoshop even allows the HSL shift to be applied to just a subset of the hue spectrum. It's a huge time saver!
