Kake_Sake
Hello affinity. Is now the best time to buy this Affinity designer and Affinity Photo? I really wan't to buy them, but will there be a bigger sale right after this? I am buying them both either way, so just wanted to know if affinity has planed another sale in the near future that's more than 25%
Tia Lapis
Really? They are dirt cheap without any special sale going on and then 25% less is not big enough? I'll never get people... doeboy, Alfred, SrPx and 1 other 4 Quote Mac mini M1 / Ryzen 5600H & RTX3050 mobile / iPad Pro 1st - all with latest non beta release of Affinity
Alfred
Really? They are dirt cheap without any special sale going on and then 25% less is not big enough? I'll never get people... Quite so! At the list price of US$50, a 20% discount is $10 and a 25% discount is $12.50. What can you buy for $2.50 these days?? Alfred
A better calculator app? :P Er ... nope! My point was that a 25% discount is just $2.50 more than a 20% discount. ;) Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.4.1 (iPad 7th gen)

R C-R
Er ... nope! My point was that a 25% discount is just $2.50 more than a 20% discount. ;) I was just trying to poke a little fun at the different ways discounts can be calculated: 20% off the retail price is 25% of the discounted price. So $2.50 can be considered 5% of the retail price or 6.25% of the discounted one. I am ancient enough to remember this being something that confused some of my classmates in school & a few of them bringing in "four banger" TI calculators to "prove" to the teacher that they got the right answer on a math test. I guess that was too obscure a reference ... & probably not as funny to me as it would be to anybody else even if they knew what I meant. Sorry for the confusion. Alfred 1 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.4.1 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 Affinity Photo 1.10.8; Affinity Designer 1.108; & all 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.

Staff Patrick Connor Posted November 20, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 20, 2016 I doubt that both applications will both be in offer at the same time soon. Why not buy Designer and wait for Photo to be on offer. I doubt that the price will rise soon, so you could take the risk. Tooslow
Crikey. PSE is £47.96. I just checked on Amazon UK. It's normally £70 - £80 so I guess today is a Blue Wednesday or something. Full Fat PS (back when you could buy it) was about £600. I'll write that out in full; six hundred pounds. ish. And Affinity is promising to sell AP at... £39.99. These guys have to eat y'know. John Affinity products are ridiculously good value. I tried PSE as a cheaper alternative to full PS and didn't get on with it at all, and then a few weeks later they brought out a new version which I'd have to pay for if I wanted the update. Photo is ten times better than PSE at half the price, and you get free updates.
Tooslow
I don't know why you aimed that at me Monzo. That's exactly the point I was making. John
