tomkinsr
I am trying out the Focus Merge. Iitially, there is a Sources View on the right side of the screen, and the cursor is a circle, which appear to correlate with the Clone Brush Tool being selected. I choose the View Tool (HAND) and the Sources view disappears. I go to View, Studio, Sources and the Sources view appears, but now there are no files displayed as there were when the Fcus Merge had just completed. I was trying to view specific focused images by using the Sources View, but this functionality is gone the moment the view disappears. Is it normal for a menu choice to change other unrelated menu choices?
Chris_K
Hi tomkinsr, welcome to the forums The sources panel is depended in the tool you have selected. As it only really works with the clone tool, the sources becomes blank if you switch tools, but should re-populate if you select the clone tool again Serif Europe Ltd - Check the latest news at www.affinity.serif.com
John Rostron
I had the same problem, and was thrown when the Sources disappeared. I got it back, more by good luck than anything. It would help if this quirk was made clear. John Windows 11, Affinity Photo 2.4.2 Designer 2.4.2 and Publisher 2.4.2 (mainly Photo). CPU: Intel Core i5 8500 @ 3.00GHz.
