Alfred Posted November 19, 2016 Share Posted November 19, 2016 Red (or rather, purple) borders are there to indicate snapping candidates. Click on the little white triangle next to the red magnet 'Snapping' ('Magnetische ausrichten') icon on the top toolbar to display the snapping options, and then clear the 'Show snapping candidates' ('Ausrichtungskandidaten anzeigen') checkbox.
