Hello, I am new to Affinity and just started my first project. I need to accurately print an image. I carefully set up up the document and the canvas for A4 printing at 210mm x 297mm. I used the cropping tool and the transform tool to size and centre the image just on the boundary of the canvas. I printed the document using the settings A4, Scaling & Artboards, Entire Document, using (a) Scale to Fit (b) Print Actual Size in both prints about 0.5 cms of the margin of the image was lost all round. I printed again but using the Setting Scale to 95%, and most of the lost margin was recovered. The question is why did the original prints appear not to work ?

Thank you.

Hi Jim,

Welcome to the Forums :)

Sorry for the long response to your post it would seem this thread slipped under the radar!

It would be quite difficult for us to say why it didn't work without seeing the file that is printing incorrectly I'm afraid. Would it be possible for you to attach the file to this thread?

Thanks

C
