whitehead
Hello there - really thrilled this is on the runway for Windows and the Daub brushes are incredible. However, Erase as a brush blend mode doesn't seem to work, assuming this means painting into the alpha - good to have this option as an easy keyboard shortcut (as in Clip Studio) as I'm sure many artists use it. Great stuff, Peter
Chris_K
Hi Peter The Erase blend mode should be for layers only and not included with the brushes so I'm going to say this is why it doesn't work! Thanks for letting us know about this Serif Europe Ltd - Check the latest news at www.affinity.serif.com
whitehead
Thank you - it's possibly a bit confusing though that the blend modes is part of the brushes bar (i.e. appears between numeric brush settings and the wet edges/protect alpha dialogues) - does this mean the erasers option will be removed in future releases? In any case, I do feel it's a worthy inclusion is painting into the alpha is a powerful tool. I think - it has obvious benefits for comic book inkers (i.e. cutting into the ink, as it were) but also produces interesting edging effects that a standard eraser cannot. All best, Peter PaulAffinity
