Affinity Motion (After Effects/Premier alternative)

Recommended Posts

Affinity Coffee (and maybe a local version, Affinity Tea ).

On a less serious note (not all is gotta be guiding Serif to their best path in business) , I've been for a while interested in trying Fusion (just as much as in learning After Effects (but this just for my "non-freelancing" career). Is one of my "must do this year" wishes) for a while. If it is nodes based, that's fantastic, as is how I'm using Blender (and its Cycles renderer) since quite some time (its node editor), and that tends to be quite flexible.

AD, AP and APub. V1.10.6 and V2.4 Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Blender? I thought you said you are a maxxer. Also, DaVinci Resolve 15 apparently have Fusion built in now. And yes, Fusion is node based. Seriously though, I really wish they make an agreement with Bmd to make a true Affinity Files support on Resolve and Fusion.

Indeed.... I am. I have modeled, rigged/weighted characters, textured them, even animated (a bit) as day job for years with 3DS Max. And modeled & uv-mapped props, characters, levels. Mostly in the game  industry. But then I got into another field, -better said, got back to it- , web design and graphic design for print, general corporate. For many years. In that while I learnt deeply Blender as at home was doing personal projects, also indy projects with a friend, and actually also paid freelancing work. That makes a lot of years with max, and a lot of years with Blender. professional experience with both.  :)

Both are very good. Blender is slightly cheaper, because it is free. Max... well some lil cash, you know. And with the joy of subscription, just a ton more expensive than a Adobe's.
