Artem F
I have a symbol. Into this symbol there is a group. I check a «Lock Children». Then I unsync a symbol and change a height of group. And then I again sync symbol. After all objects in symbol get a wrong scale. Is it bug? How I can fix it? R C-R
If I understand the function correctly, when you unsync a symbol it cannot be re-synced later. For that to happen, you would need to create a new symbol from the unsynced instance & use that wherever you want changes to it to apply to every other instance you add to a document that includes that symbol. Artem F
I don't understand why objects resize after I change a height of group in unsync mode. I attach a file for testing, and I record another demohttp://take.ms/iS2sx test_symbol.afdesign
robskinn
I'm also unable to use symbols due to this re-sizing bug. I have an object pasted-into / masked-by another object. When I check the sync button to un-sync the symbol and then adjust the size of the mother object, the children in all other instances of the un-synced symbol change size. Any fixes in the pipeline?
