I'm using the latest version of Affinity Designer beta (1.5.0.36) .. and I have an issue with a somewhat inaccurate pixel view mode. I created a document with a size of 16x16 pixel (with artboards). All important alignment or snapping options are activated and the example graphic is placed on full pixels. See the attached gif file. The artboard size seems to change. It looks as though the object on the first Artboard might not be aligned properly causing the pixel to appear shifted 1 to the left. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Actually it seems to still be placed correctly after entering pixel preview mode (see image). Maybe its just a rendering and not an alignment error then? We believe we have now resolved the problem and will make the fix available in the next public release (1.6). The fix can be trialled in the forthcoming Mac and Windows beta builds available from the relevant beta forums. The issue on Mac was OpenGL specific and does not happen on Metal, but hopefully is addressed on all drawing modes going forward.
